James Waters, Co-founder and CTO of Performance Matters, joined me in-studio to talk education, data and the meaning of technology in education. We are taken behind the scenes of Performance Matters and discuss the 2003 landscape and how it has changed over the years.
Mr. Waters co-founded the Company in 2003 and is the principal architect of Performance Matters’ solutions. He is responsible for the development of the product road map and company technical operations. Prior to co-founding Performance Matters, he focused most of his career in the Business Intelligence arena working as a consultant and sales engineer marrying complex business requirements with technical realities specific to the K-12 market. He has also worked as an ETL developer and was the Lead Data Warehouse Architect for Highland Consulting, a business intelligence consulting firm, where he focused on the manufacturing and telecommunications sectors. Mr. Waters received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of West Florida.
